Valve manifold for differential pressure measuring instruments IV 30, IV 31, IV 50 and IV 51

3-Valve Manifold, Model IV3:

  • This manifold has three valves: two shut-off valves and one pressure equalizing valve.
  • The shut-off valves isolate the differential pressure measuring instrument from the process.
  • The pressure equalizing valve helps balance pressure between the two sides, preventing one side from experiencing excessive pressure during setup and operation.

5-Valve Manifold, Model IV5:

  • This manifold includes all features of the 3-valve manifold but adds two vent valves.
  • Each pressure side has its own vent valve for controlled venting, allowing operators to release pressure from one or both sides as necessary.
  • It has a non-rotating spindle tip that minimizes wear on sealing elements, enhancing durability with frequent use.
  • The gas metering configuration in the 5-valve manifold consists of two pressure equalizing valves, two shut-off valves, and one vent valve, optimizing differential pressure measurement for accurate results.
  • The natural gas version (Model IV52N) comes with soft-seat through-bore bonnets for both instrument isolation and flow control.

Additional Service:
WIKA offers professional assembly of valves, pressure measuring instruments, and other accessories into a ready-to-install setup upon request.

Applications

  • Shut-off, pressure equalising and vent valves for differential pressure measuring instruments
  • For gaseous and liquid aggressive media that are not highly viscous or crystallising, also in aggressive environments
  • Process industry: oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical industries, power generation, water and wastewater

Special features

  • Low-wear design due to non-rotating spindle tip in the bonnet
  • Low torque and smooth operation of valve handle even at high pressure
  • Standardised centre distances of 37 mm and 54 mm, suitable for WIKA differential pressure gauges and commonly used process transmitters
  • Valve seat tested for leak tightness per ISO 5208 leak rate A
  • Enhanced working safety due to blow-out proof bonnet design, especially in applications with high pressure loading
